Get on the same page about money

Dear Reader,

You know that when you're not intentional about money, your marriage is missing out! Not being on the same financial page can lead to stress and missed opportunities to plan and dream together!

We've been there. For 18 years, we didn't talk about money, we didn't budget and we definitely didn't dream together!

Not being intentional with our money was just plain stupid.

But we didn't know any better because we didn't know.

We had marriage mentors, marriage prep classes AND a financial advisor but no one told us that we need to get out of debt, save an emergency fund and start investing.

We were in debt and stressed.

It was only when I discovered Dave Ramsey on YouTube, that the scales fell from my eyes - and it just made common sense!

Now, I know that you either like or dislike Dave Ramsey, but you can't deny that he has helped thousands of people win with their money!

Getting on the same page with a husband who was totally overwhelmed and reluctant to talk about money wasn't easy. But we did it. It didn't happen overnight but we did it!

Now, I can honestly say that our marriage has improved.

  • My husband and I now share a bank account.
  • We are open and honest with each other about money.
  • We are able to budget together - and see where our money is going.
  • We don't argue about money anymore.
  • We have dreams and plans that we are working towards.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's not all roses, sometimes there is a little hiccup that we need to address. BUT, we can handle it as a team. We talk, we think of all the options, we make a plan and we take action!

And that's what I want for you.

I want your marriage to keep thriving and for you to experience financial peace.

If we can do it, so can you!
